Run by and for the community
We operate a full library service, in partnership with Hull City Council, through over 60 Volunteer Library Assistants, with many more volunteers carrying out the huge range of other tasks required to keep the library operating, all managed by a Trustee Board of 11 local residents, library users and volunteers.

We are back this Saturday with our family arts session. This week we will be planting beans and creating spring themed crafts. £2.50
We're really pleased to be taking part in the West Hull Villages Scarecrow Hunt again this year. Our theme this time is 'Literary Characters'. If you feel able to make a scarecrow to display on the Green and would like some help with ideas Pauline is going to be in the library tomorrow (Monday 8 April) from 2.30pm and is happy to help!
Our volunteers are busy beavering away preparing for our Spring Fayre on Sunday 5 May 12-4. One of our very talented volunteers has hand made this beautiful cat. This will be available to win on our 'Guess the name of the Cat' stall at just 50p a go.
